This sight is a beautiful hidden gem located in Moscow’s southwest. The convent features an impressive combination of Baroque and Classicism styling, and the cemetery is the burial site for many of Russia’s famous artist and literary figures such as Stalin’s wife, composer and pianist Sergei Rakhmaninov and many more.

The gallery is home to an impressive collection of traditional Russian art dated from the 10th to the 20th century. The collection of Andrei Rublev’s religious icons is one of the gallery’s centrepieces, and the earliest known masterpiece.
