Start your trip by relaxing on one of the most beautiful beaches in Goa- Palolem Beach. Famous for its crescent-shaped coastline and calm waters, Palolem beach is a perfect place for swimming and sunbathing. You can also take a walk along the shore and explore the local stalls offering souvenirs, clothes, and other items.
Head towards the north to explore the magnificent Aguada Fort, built-in 1612 to defend against the Dutch and Marathas. The fort offers stunning views of the Arabian Sea and the Sinquerim beach. After visiting the fort, spend some time on the beach and soak in the sun or take a dip in the water.
Begin your day with a visit to the beautiful Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary. The sanctuary is home to a wide variety of bird species, including kingfishers, woodpeckers, and drongos. After bird-watching, make your way to Dona Paula Beach and enjoy the picturesque view of the coastline.
On your last day in Goa, explore the famous Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The church houses the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier, and his body is on display every ten years. After visiting the church, head to Anjuna Beach and spend some time relaxing on the golden sands. The beach is also home to many water sports activities, including parasailing and jet-skiing.
If you have more time, you can add the Sahakari Spice Plantation, the Dudhsagar Waterfalls, and the Fontainhas Latin Quarter to your itinerary. For a more adventurous trip, include Baga and Calangute beaches for some water sports activities. If you have less time, consider skipping the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary or the Aguada Fort to have more relaxing time on the beaches.
