Next, head to the Jaganmohan Palace (opens at 11:00 AM), which was once a royal art gallery and now turned into a museum. It displays a wide and impressive collection of paintings of the prominent art schools of India, along with rare artefacts and antiques.
To end your day, visit the Brindavan Gardens (opens from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM), known for its well-manicured gardens, musical fountains, and vibrant light show.
Next up, visit the Karanji Lake (opens at 8:30 AM), which has everything that one wants - a tranquil environment, scintillating sunshine, lush green gardens, and a pond filled with fishes, and turtles. Take a stroll around, make connections with nature, and don't miss the bird-watching tower.
After this, head to the Chamundi Hills (opens at 7:30 AM), a mountain that has a beautiful temple of Goddess Chamundeshwari. Trek up the hill and enjoy the panoramic view of the city.
If you have extra time, you can visit the Mysore Zoo or the Folklore Museum, which are located near Karanji Lake. For a religious experience, visit the St. Philomena's Cathedral, which is located near Mysore Palace. If you have less time, you can skip the Jaganmohan Palace and Brindavan Gardens, but we highly recommend you include these in your itinerary.
