B R HILLS 2-Day Itinerary

1. Day 1: BRT Wildlife Sanctuary
   20 minutes drive from BR Hills town

   Start your day with a visit to the BRT Wildlife Sanctuary, home to diverse flora and fauna including tigers, elephants, deer, and many more. It's a beautiful place to explore by jeep safari, trekking or a nature walk. You can indulge in bird watching and spot over 200 different species of birds. The sanctuary is open from 6 am to 6 pm, closed on Tuesdays.

2. Day 2: Dodda Sampige Mara
   30 minute drive from BRT Wildlife Sanctuary

   The Dodda Sampige Mara is a sprawling white silk cotton tree plantation that's over 200 years old. It's an excellent place for nature lovers and photographers. You can also indulge in a picnic here. The place is open from 9 am to 6 pm, all days of the week.

Useful tips

If you have an extra day, you can visit the Manchanebele Dam and the Kagalad Adventure Camp, which are some more tourist destinations around B R Hills. Also, it is best to avoid the monsoon season as it can be hard to explore places due to heavy rains and sometimes sanctuary is closed during the monsoons.
