Begin your trip with an adventurous start by visiting Hebbe Falls, located in the middle of the coffee estates. The falls are surrounded by lush greenery, and the water cascades from 551 ft. A dip in the pristine water is a must, or you could trek one of the many trails around the falls.
Next, head to Mullayanagiri, the highest peak in Karnataka. The peak offers stunning views of the Western Ghats, and it's the perfect place to enjoy a sunset! If you opt for an early morning trek, nothing like it. The view during the dawn will leave you spellbound.
Start your day at the beautiful Baba Bungandiri. The shrine is located at an elevation of 5000 ft. The atmosphere around the shrine is calm and serene. Find your inner peace here, and if you're feeling adventurous enough, trek to the peak for a panoramic view of the Western Ghats.
After an early dose of sprituality head on to Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary for a dose of nature. The sanctuary is home to various species of flora and fauna, like Indian bison, sloth bear, gaurs, etc. The sanctuary also has a very famous Tiger reserve near the river and a beautiful lake. You could also try some water activities here.
On the final day, unwind at Hirekolale Lake, also known as the heart-shaped lake. The lake is surrounded by natural beauty, and you could either relax by the lake or indulge in some water activities on the lake. The water body also makes for a perfect place to end your trip and spend some quality time with your friends before bidding adieu.
If you have an extra day to spare, you could also visit Kudremukh National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its lush green forests, waterfalls, and trekking trails.
If you're short on time, skip Hirekolale Lake and head straight to Bengaluru, which is a 4-hour drive from Hirekolale Lake.
