Upon arrival, check into your hotel and take a walk to Kedarnath Temple. This ancient temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India.
Head to Guptkashi, a quaint town known for its ancient Shiva temple. Then, make your way to Chopta, a picturesque hill station with stunning views of the Himalayas. Don't forget to take a short trek to Tungnath Temple, the highest Shiva temple in the world.
Visit Joshimath, a holy town with numerous temples and ashrams. Then, head to Auli, a popular skiing destination with breathtaking views of Nanda Devi peak. Take a ropeway ride for panoramic views.
Next, visit the confluence of the holy rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini in Rudraprayag. Continue to Devprayag, the confluence of the rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirathi, which form the river Ganga. Take a boat ride and learn about the significance of these holy rivers.
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight back to Hyderabad.
If you have more time, consider visiting Badrinath Temple or Valley of Flowers National Park. If you have less time, skip Rudraprayag and Devprayag and spend an extra day in Auli for skiing or trekking. Make sure to check opening and closing times of places before planning your itinerary.
