Check in to your hotel in the morning and head out to Calangute Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Goa. Spend your day sunbathing, playing beach games or enjoying water sports like parasailing and jet skiing. Head to one of the many beach shacks for lunch and try some authentic seafood. In the evening, enjoy some live music by local bands or DJs and have a beach bonfire party.
Start your day with a Spice Plantation Tour where you can learn about different spices, their uses and enjoy a traditional Goan meal. After lunch, head to Dudhsagar Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India. Go trekking through the lush green forests and enjoy the scenic views of the waterfalls. Spend some time swimming and taking photographs. Head back to your hotel in the evening and enjoy a relaxing Ayurveda massage.
Start your day with a visit to Old Goa, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit the ancient churches and cathedrals like Basilica of Bom Jesus and Se Cathedral, to witness their rich history and beautiful architecture. For lunch, visit one of the local restaurants to try some authentic Goan cuisine like fish curry rice and pork vindaloo. In the evening, head to one of the many casinos in Goa and try your luck. For those with more time, add a day trip to the beautiful beaches of South Goa like Palolem and Colva beach. For those with less time, skip the spice plantation tour, or the Old Goa sightseeing. Remember to carry sunscreen, hats and comfortable footwear for trekking. Also, exchange your currency beforehand as international debit and credit cards are not accepted everywhere in Goa. Lastly, be cautious of pickpockets and beware of fake tour operators who offer cheap deals.
