Visit the Laxman Jhula Bridge and take a dip in the holy river Ganges. Stop by the Parmarth Niketan Ashram for some meditation and yoga. Catch a beautiful sunset at the Triveni Ghat Arti Ceremony.
Take a nature walk in the Rajaji National Park and maybe spot some wild elephants. Visit the Ram Rai Gurudwara and the Tapovan Temple, both famous for their architecture. End the day at the Paltan Bazaar and shop for local handicrafts and souvenirs.
Take a cable car ride to the charming hill station of Mussoorie. Walk along the Mall Road and enjoy beautiful colonial architecture. Stop by the Kempty Falls for a refreshing dip in the water. End the day with beautiful views of the sunset from Gun Hill.
Visit the Cloud's End, a beautiful walking trail surrounded by forests. Stop by the Camel's Back Road and its stunning views of the valley. End the day with some adventure activities at the Mossy Falls Adventure Park.
Visit the Christ Church, a gorgeous Gothic-style church. Walk through the Happy Valley and visit some Tibetan monasteries. End the day with a picnic at the peaceful Company Bagh.
Return to Rishikesh for one last time and enjoy some street food at the Ram Jhula Market. Take a final dip in the holy river Ganges and reflect on your journey. End the trip by visiting the Beatles Ashram.
If you have more time, consider a day trip to the Haridwar, another holy city. Or if you have less time, skip Dehradun and go straight from Rishikesh to Mussoorie. Remember to carry comfortable walking shoes and clothes suitable for the weather. Also, keep in mind that some places may close earlier or on specific days of the week, so plan accordingly.
