If you have more time, you can visit the Sakshi Ganapati Temple located in Srisailam, which is believed to be a must-visit temple. You can also go on a short trek to the Hatakeswara Swamy Temple located on the banks of Krishna river.
If you have less time, you can skip the boat ride and Mahanandi Wildlife Sanctuary and instead visit the Akka Mahadevi Caves situated in Srisailam. The caves are believed to be the abode of Akka Mahadevi, a renowned Kannada poetess and saint.
