Start your trip on a cultured note by exploring Alibuag's museums. Begin at the Museo ng Alibuag which houses a collection of historical artifacts related to the city's founding. Next, visit the Bongbong's Pasalubong which has souvenir items and is a great place to buy Filipino delicacies at affordable prices. End your museum hopping at the Philippine Coast Guard Museum that showcases the history of the Philippine coast guard.
Alibuag is known for its beaches, and today we recommend visiting Talipanan Beach located near Puerto Galera. The serene white-sand, crystal-clear water, and the swaying coconut trees make it the perfect place for a relaxing day at the beach. Take a dip, soak up the sun, or rent some gear and go snorkeling.
If you have more time, consider taking a jungle hike to see Tukuran Falls, or enjoy some water activities such as surfing or kayaking. If you have less time, you may want to skip visiting one of the museums and instead spend more time on the city's beaches. Don't forget to bring plenty of sunscreen and a hat for adequate protection against the sun.
