Travelers can easily navigate Zagreb by foot, as most of the attractions are located within walking distance. Alternatively, public transportation options include buses, trams, and taxis. A single tram ticket is 10 HRK, while a taxi ride from the airport to the city center costs approximately 150 HRK and takes around 30 minutes.
If you have more time, consider visiting the Zagreb Zoo, spending an afternoon at the Jarun Lake, or taking a day trip to the nearby Plitvice Lakes National Park. For shorter stays, consider skipping one of the museums or choosing between the two city parks.
Zagreb International Airport (ZAG) is the main airport serving Zagreb and is located about 17km south of the city center.
