Start your trip by spending a day at Anjuna Beach. Known for its stunning coastline, shacks serving delicious seafood, and night markets, Anjuna has a lot to offer. Take a stroll along the beach, shop at the Wednesday flea market, and end the day by watching a beautiful sunset.
Visit the Fort Aguada built in the 17th century by the Portuguese to protect against the Dutch and the Marathas. The fort offers stunning views of the Arabian sea and houses a lighthouse that is believed to be the oldest in Asia.
A trip to Goa is incomplete without visiting the Dudhsagar Waterfalls. A four-tiered waterfall set against the lush Western Ghats, Dudhsagar is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Goa. Take a dip in the refreshing pool formed by the waterfall, and don't forget to carry a change of clothes.
On your last day, visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The church is famous for housing the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier, a 16th-century Jesuit saint. The baroque architecture and the magnificent paintings inside the church are impressive, making it a must-visit.
If you have more time, add a day trip to the beautiful Palolem Beach, a 2.5-hour drive from Dudhsagar Waterfalls. If you have less time, skip the Dudhsagar Waterfalls and visit the impressive Se Cathedral near the Basilica of Bom Jesus.
