4-Day Itinerary for Goa

  1. Day 1: Old Goa

    Spend your first day exploring Old Goa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was once a colonial capital. Visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus and Se Cathedral, two magnificent 16th-century churches.     Start your day with a visit to Colva Beach, known for its fine white sand, coconut palms, and seafood shacks. Then, head to Palolem Beach, which has cleaner waters and fewer crowds than other beaches. For a peaceful retreat, try Butterfly Beach, a secluded bay accessible only by boat. End your day with the stunning sunset views at the Aguada Fort.

  3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Falls
    66 minutes (48km) from Palolem Beach

    A scenic drive takes you to one of India's tallest waterfalls, Dudhsagar Falls. With a height of over 300 meters, this is a magnificent natural beauty. You can also take an adventurous Jeep Safari and trek that goes to this spot. Have fun taking a dip in the refreshing water. You can also visit the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park, which is a biodiversity hot spot, nearby.

  4. Day 4: Fontainhas & Panaji City
    10 minutes (4.3km) from Dudhsagar Falls

    On your last day, explore the Fontainhas, the Latin Quarter of Goa, known for its charming colorful houses and beautiful architecture. Then take a stroll down to the city, Panaji beachfronts, soak up the sights and sounds of the city, and indulge in some last-minute shopping. In the evening, take a crooze from the Mandovi river, and enjoy the local food.

Useful Tips:

It's best to plan your visit to Dudhsagar Falls on the third day, as it's a long drive. However, remember that the falls are shut for the public from June to September. If you have some more time, try to fit in visits to the Goa State Museum or Anjuna beach. On the other hand, if you have less time, you could plan a shorter trip and just explore the beaches!
