The Somavathi Falls is a magnificent waterfall that falls from a height of 130 feet. It is located amidst the rugged terrain of the Western Ghats and offers panoramic views of the surroundings. Trek through the trails that wind through the hills and marvel at the beauty of the falls.
If you have more time, you can visit Kudremukh peak for its commanding view of the surroundings or go trekking through the Western Ghats. Alternatively, you can opt for a jeep safari tour of the national park. If you have less time, you can skip the Somavathi Falls and spend more time at the Hanuman Gundi Falls instead. Make sure to carry plenty of water and snacks for the trip as there are limited food options in the area.
