    The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is a famous destination for nature lovers. It is home to a variety of fauna like tigers, lion-tailed macaques and elephants. Visitors can enjoy a boat ride on Periyar Lake and trek to see the beautiful wildlife.

    Located in the town of Thekkady, Spice Village is a great restaurant to have lunch. The restaurant uses spices grown in their own garden to give the food a unique flavour like no other.

    Approx. 2 hours (60 km) drive from Thekkady

    Mattupetty is a beautiful hill station which overlooks the stunning Mattupetty dam and lake. The shola forests and rolling hills in the background provide a perfect setting for some great photos. It is also possible to hire a speed boat and take a tour of the lake.

    Approx. 10 minutes (3.4 km) drive from Mattupetty dam

    Located in Munnar, Echo Point is a popular spot for tourists. The point gets its name from the echo created when one screams loudly. The surrounding hills, mist and the cool air make the ideal place to relax amidst nature.

  5. 6:00 PM: Eravikulam National Park
    Approx. 30 minutes (12 km) drive from Echo Point

    Eravikulam National Park is a must explore if you're visiting Munnar. It is home to endangered species like Nilgiri Tahr and provides a rich landscape to explore with its rolling hills and shola forests.
