  2. Day 2: Visit Devaliya Park

    Devaliya Park is like a mini Gir National Park with a fenced area as compared to Gir. Perfect for spotting different types of deer and antelopes up close. Also, lookout for the different bird species that inhabit this area.

  3. Day 3: Kamleshwar Dam Excursion

    Visit the Kamleshwar Dam which is situated within Gir National Park. Have a picnic lunch and do a short trek along the river in the evening. You might spot crocodiles too!

  4. Day 4: Somnath Temple Visit

    The Somnath temple is one of the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines of Lord Shiva. Spend time marveling at the architecture of the temple and the beautiful views of the Arabian Sea from the temple complex.

Useful Tips

If you have extra time, visit Tulsishyam Temple which is situated outside the park premises and popular for its hot water springs. If you have less time, skip Junagadh and do a half-day trip to the Shree Swami Narayan Temple which is just an hour drive from Gir National Park.
