For transportation around the island, renting a car is the most convenient option. It costs around $60 per day, and the driving time to each location is relatively short. Alternatively, you can take a taxi, but it may need pre-booking in order to avoid last-minute booking costs.
If you have more time, consider checking out Moorea Dolphin Center for a memorable dolphin encounter or take a dive into the Tiki Parc for zip lining and other activities. If you have less time, choose only between hikes and water sports or snorkeling and ATV tours that suits your adventurer preferences. Make sure you have enough drinking water to keep you hydrated throughout your activities.
Moorea's airport is the Moorea Airport (MOZ), located on the northeast side of the island, only three miles from the capital city. It serves flights from Papeete's Faa'a International Airport (PPT) in Tahiti, which is about a 30-minute flight away.
