Start your day with a visit to the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary, a beautiful reserve home to a variety of animals and plants. Enjoy trekking, nature walks, and safari rides to spot elephants, tigers, and peacocks. The sanctuary is open from 7 am to 10 am and 3 pm to 5 pm.
On day 2, set out for an exciting trek to Chembra Peak, the highest peak in Wayanad with breathtaking views. It takes around three hours to reach the peak, including a heart-shaped lake.
Edakkal Caves are a must-visit for nature lovers and history buffs. These caves date back to the Neolithic era and contain inscriptions and cave paintings. Explore the caves and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding hills. The caves are open from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm.
Explore Soochipara Falls, a beautiful three-tiered waterfall surrounded by lush green forests. Swim in the crystal clear waterfalls and click great pictures. The falls are open from 9 am to 5 pm.
If you have more time, you could visit the Banasura Sagar Dam, Pookode Lake, or explore the Thirunelly Temple. For those with less time, you could skip the trek to Chembra Peak.
