Basilica of Bom Jesus is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is famous for housing the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier. The Baroque architecture is breathtaking and the church is well-maintained. The church is open from 9:00am to 6:30pm.
Dudhsagar Waterfalls is a 4-level cascading waterfall and is a natural wonder which should be on your list. The falls look milky white due to the strong current and is surrounded by lush greenery. Pack a picnic lunch to enjoy by the falls. The falls are open from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
If you have more time, visit the beaches of Baga and Calangute for a relaxing day by the sea. You can also take a day trip to the spice plantations and learn about the spices grown in Goa. Alternatively, if you have less time, skip Fort Aguada and start Day 2 with Basilica of Bom Jesus.
