Start your journey with Kanipakam, a temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha that is known for its Vinayaka idol and stunning architecture. After that, head to Kailasanathakona Waterfall, a hidden gem surrounded by lush greenery and natural beauty. Take a refreshing dip in the cool water and enjoy the serenity of the waterfalls.
Visit the Salar Jung Museum, which houses one of the largest collections of artefacts in the world. This museum is divided into various sections where you can see jewellery, ivory, weapons, manuscripts, textiles and more. Later on, head to the Charminar, a historical monument that is a symbol of Hyderabad. Climb to the top to get a panoramic view of the city and savour some delicious biryani from the local food joints.
Built in the 16th century by the Qutb Shahi dynasts, Golconda Fort is famous for its acoustics and the legendary Kohinoor diamond. Enjoy the light and sound show which narrates stories about the fort. Then head to the Hussain Sagar Lake, where you can take a boat ride to see the giant statue of Lord Buddha and get a mesmerising view of the sunset. End your trip by savouring some popular local sweets like 'double ka meetha' and 'khubani ka meetha'.
If you have more time, you can add Ramoji Film City, Chowmahalla Palace, and Mecca Masjid to your itinerary. If you have less time, you can skip Kanipakam temple.
