The Dain Thlen Waterfall is famous for its peaceful surroundings and tranquil ambiance. The mythological significance of this beautiful waterfall is that a demon named Thlen existed at this place; the people of the village joined hands to kill the demon. Cherrapunjee is a place of natural beauty; a two-day trip may not be enough to explore the place. If you have more time, you can also visit other popular spots like Eco Park, Thangkharang Park, or Krem Mawmluh Cave. However, if you have less time, you can skip Dain Thlen Waterfall as it is not much known for its touristy crowd.
