A Well-Spent Day in Mumbai

1. 9:00AM: Gateway of India
   Located in Colaba, South Mumbai, next to the iconic Taj Mahal Palace hotel.

   The Gateway of India is an iconic structure that overlooks the Arabian Sea. Its architecture blends together Hindu, Muslim and European styles. It was built to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary in 1911. The monument has witnessed several historical moments since India gained independence and is one of Mumbai's most photographed landmarks.

2. 11:00AM: Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST)
   Located in Fort, South Mumbai.

   The Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was formerly known as Victoria Terminus. The building is an architectural marvel and combines Victorian Gothic and Indian styles. It is one of the busiest railway stations in India and is a great place to people-watch or take a train to explore other parts of Mumbai.

3. 1:00PM: Lunch at Britannia & Co.
   Located in Ballard Estate, South Mumbai.

   Britannia & Co. is a Parsi restaurant that has been around since 1923. It is famous for its berry pulao and caramel custard. The décor is old-world and the service is warm and friendly. If you are in the mood for something unique, Britannia & Co. is the place to be.

4. 3:00PM: Marine Drive
   Located in South Mumbai.

   Marine Drive is a 3.6-kilometre-long promenade that overlooks the Arabian Sea. It is also known as the Queen's Necklace as the streetlights resemble a string of pearls. The area is popular among joggers and couples who enjoy a romantic walk while watching the sunset.

5. 5:00PM: Haji Ali Dargah
   Located in Worli, South Mumbai.

   The Haji Ali Dargah is a mosque and tomb located on an islet off the coast of Worli. It is accessible via a narrow causeway that stretches across the sea. The mosque is a beautiful example of Indo-Islamic architecture and is open to people of all religions. The area also has several food vendors selling Mumbai's famous street food.

6. 7:00PM: Bollywood Tour
   Located in Goregaon, Mumbai.

   The Bollywood Tour is a guided tour that takes you behind the scenes of the Hindi film industry. You will get a chance to see how movies are made and even get a chance to dance to a Bollywood number. The tour will also take you to a Bollywood museum where you can learn more about the history of Indian cinema.
