Transportation in Jordan is well-connected through taxis, Uber or Careem (Middle East's version of Uber) and buses, however, to travel between cities or for day tours, the best option would be to hire a personal driver. Expect to pay around $60-$80 per day depending on the vehicle type and experience. Remember to always agree upon a price before starting your journey.
If you have more time, visit Dana Biosphere Reserve, Dead Sea, or Jerash. If you have less time, skip the Wadi Mujib hike and spend more time exploring Petra or relaxing in Aqaba.
Jordan's main airport is Queen Alia International Airport (AMM), located in Amman, 20 miles from the city center. Another option for travelers is King Hussein International Airport (AQJ), located in Aqaba.
