Experience the wildlife by trekking the jungle or boarding a jeep safari. The sanctuary also provides opportunities for adventure activities like rafting, kayaking or camping in the woods.
The picturesque Hebbe Falls is located in the Kemmangundi hill range and can only be reached by trekking. The route is strewn with cascading streams, thick forests and vibrant flora. The waterfall offers ideal relaxation in its serene surroundings. Enjoy the enthralling drive to Kemmangundi as you pass through the vast tea estates in the area.
If you have an extra day, visit the Kudremukh National Park to spot leopards, sambars, and spotted deer. Or, you could take a tour of the coffee plantations near Chikmagalur.
For a shorter trip, skip the wildlife sanctuary. Alternatively, for more leisure, make a stop at the famous Belur and Halebid temples on your way back to Chikmagalur.
