Colombo, the vibrant capital of Sri Lanka is pretty exciting in the night too. After reaching there, you can wander around and explore Pettah Market and enjoy some local snacks.
If you have additional free time, you can explore more of Colombo or take a day off from this itinerary to visit the stunning hill-top town Nuwara Eliya. If you have a chance to spend an extra day, don't forget to explore the local culture, the famous tea gardens, and especially the food. But, if you have less time than one day, try starting the tour earlier and avoiding the beach for more exploration time.
