Begin your trip by exploring the City Palace, the largest palace complex in Rajasthan which includes the Mewar palace and the Srinivasan temple. After that, visit the famous Jagdish Temple that was built by the Maharana Jagat Singh in 1651 and is a fine example of Indo-Aryan architecture.
Explore the picturesque Lake Pichola, take a boat ride around its serene waters, and visit the iconic Lake Palace which is now a luxury hotel. After that, head to the Monsoon Palace, located atop a hill that offers a panoramic view of Udaipur.
Visit the beautiful Saheliyon Ki Bari, a garden built by the Maharana Sangram Singh in the 18th century for the women of the royal household. After that, head over to the Bagore Ki Haveli museum, which showcases the cultural heritage of Rajasthan through its collection of textiles, artifacts, and paintings.
Take a trip to the Kumbhalgarh Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site that was built in the 15th century and has the second-longest wall in the world after the Great Wall of China. Then, visit Haldighati, a mountain pass where the historic battle between Maharana Pratap and the Mughal Emperor Akbar took place in 1576.
If you have more time, you can add visits to the Eklingji and Nagda temples or the Shilpgram Arts and Crafts Village. If you have less time, skip the Bagore Ki Haveli or the Lake Pichola boat ride to save on costs. It's a good idea to hire a private cab for the trip or book a pre-planned tour to avoid transportation hassles.
