The secluded beaches of Nusa Dua are a perfect romantic destination. Take a dip in the pristine waters and relax on the sandy beaches. For the more adventurous couples, try out water sports or take a walk on the paved beach side pathway.
Taman Ayun Temple is a classic example of the Balinese temple architecture and a site listed as UNESCO World Heritage. Marvel at the intricate carvings and serene environment around the temple. Later, head to the Alas Harum Agro Tourism for a coffee plantation tour where you can walk amongst the coffee trees and sip the various types of Balinese coffee.
Ubud is known for great food, shopping, temples and art scene. Immerse yourself in the culture by visiting the Ubud Palace, watching the traditional Balinese dance to listening to the gamelan music. Head to the 12-hectare Ubud Monkey Forest to walk among Balinese long-tailed monkeys.
Experience a breathtaking view of the sunrise from the top of Mount Batur, an active volcanoe located in Batur village in Kintamani district. Trek to the Summit with a private tour guide in the dark hours to witness the sunrise from the summit.
Pura Luhur Uluwatu is situated atop a cliff, facing a picturesque view of the Indian Ocean. Visitors can explore the temple and the surrounding caverns and enjoy the mesmerizing sunset panoramic glance. End the day watching the popular traditional ‘Kecak’ Fire Dance.
For the last day of the trip, relax and spend your day sunbathing or surfing at Seminyak Beach. Shop, dine and wander in the lively streets. Later head to Ku De Ta for a romantic dinner by the sea.
If you have a few extra days, you can also consider visiting the Gitgit Waterfall, Tegallalang Rice Terraces or the Bali Safari and Marine Park. If you have less time consider skipping the Mount Batur hike or Kecak Fire Dance. Do carry sunscreen and bug spray as they will come in handy during all outdoor activities.
