Mumbai Honeymoon Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Gateway of India
    30 minutes (11 km) from Mumbai Central

    Gateway of India is a beautiful arch with a backdrop of the Arabian Sea. Take a slow walk on the coastline while holding your partner's hand and enjoy the sea breeze. You can take a boat ride to Elephanta Caves from the Gateway of India, but make sure to check the timings beforehand. If you go in the later afternoon, you will witness a beautiful sunset from the boat.

  2. Day 2: Marine Drive and Bandstand
    20 minutes (8 km) from Gateway of India

    Start your day with a walk on Marine Drive, also known as the Queen's Necklace, which is a kilometer-long stretch of palm-lined promenade beside the Arabian Sea. Have breakfast at the iconic Leopold Cafe and enjoy the street shopping at the Colaba Causeway. In the evening, head to Bandra Bandstand, a beautiful promenade overlooking the sea.   3. Day 3: Haji Ali Dargah and Worli Seaface
    20 minutes (6 km) from Bandra Bandstand

    Start your day early with a visit to the Haji Ali Dargah, a mosque and tomb located on an islet off the coast of Worli. Take a walk on the Worli Seaface, which is a beautiful six-lane concrete road flanked by the sea on both sides. You can also visit the Nehru Science Centre, which is located nearby and has many interactive exhibits.

Useful Tips

If you have more time, you can visit the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Crawford Market, and Mahalaxmi Dhobi Ghat. If you have less time, you can skip the Worli Seaface and Nehru Science Centre. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as you will be doing a lot of walking.
