Start your trip by heading to one of the most popular beaches in Goa - Calangute Beach. The lively atmosphere with shacks, water sports, and tours make it a lively and bustling beach. Get early morning sun-bathing, and later indulge in water sports like parasailing, banana boat rides, jet-skiing. Foodies can enjoy some delicious seafood and drinks at the beach shacks. You can also go for dolphin watching trips or explore nearby landmarks such as Aguada Fort or Museum of Goa.
Spend the second day of your trip amidst the natural wonder of Dudhsagar Falls. The waterfalls, surrounded by lush forests and wildlife, have four cascading streams that drop from a height of about 310 meters. The place is very serene, and you can trek to the bottom of the falls and take a dip in the refreshing water. While returning, don't forget to explore the spice plantation and take a guided tour of the ancient Tambdi Surla Temple. However, the falls remain closed for visitors from June to September due to the monsoons.
For those who have more time, can visit other popular beaches such as Baga, Anjuna, and Candolim beaches. Go for water activities during the day and experience the nightlife with beach parties. Visit Fort Aguada, Basilica of Bom Jesus, and other churches to explore the religious and historical landmarks in Old Goa. You can also go for shopping at the famous night markets in Arpora, or go for a Casino cruise at Panjim. For those who have less time, it is better to pick one destination like Calangute beach or Dudhsagar waterfalls and enjoy to the fullest.
