Madikeri Fort, located on a hill with stunning views, is a historic site worth visiting. The fort encompasses a temple, the Palace, and a museum showcasing the region's history and culture.
Dubare Elephant Camp is set among the hills and offers you a chance to get up close with elephants. You can see the animals being bathed, fed, and maybe even ride one.
Cauvery Nisargadhama is a serene island surrounded by the Cauvery River. You can take a walk through the lush greenery and spot some wildlife, such as deer. Additionally, activities such as boating, elephant rides, and camel rides are available.
If you have more time, you can add a visit to the Namdroling Monastery, which is 50 minutes from Abbey Falls and requires approximately 1.5 hours. If time is limited, you can exclude Cauvery Nisargadhama.
