The trek to the peak offers a challenging experience with beautiful landscapes en route, which can be completed in 5 hours approximately. If you have an extra day, you may explore the Eravikulam National Park, home to the rare and endangered Nilgiri Tahr, or visit the top station for an excellent view of the border between Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
