Start your adventure on Chembra Peak, one of the highest peaks in Wayanad. Take a challenging trek through lush forests and reach the heart-shaped lake at the top. The view from the top is breathtaking, which makes it a perfect spot for photography. For thrill-seekers, trek to the Phantom Rock after the Chembra trek.
On Day 2, head to Banasura Sagar Dam, the largest earthen dam in India. One can enjoy a range of activities here, from speed boating to bamboo rafting in the dam's serene waters. The top attraction is the picturesque view of the dam and its surrounding hills from the view point. A visit to Meenmutty Falls, located close by is also highly recommended.
If you have more time in Wayanad, you should consider visiting other natural gems like Soochipara Falls and Edakkal Cave. On the other hand, if you have less time, you can skip Meenmutty Falls and opt for speed boating instead of bamboo rafting in Banasura Sagar Dam.
