Le Havre is a relatively small city, and the best way to get around is on foot. Taxis are also available, but it's best to call ahead for one. Public transportation is available, but it's not as convenient as walking or taking a taxi. The average cost of a taxi ride within the city center is around 10 EUR, and walking is free!
If you have more time, consider visiting the beach and stopping by some of Le Havre's many delicious seafood restaurants. If you have less time, consider skipping the Maison de l'Armateur and spending more time at the Musée d'art moderne André Malraux.
Le Havre does not have its airport, but the closest airport is the Deauville-Normandie airport (DOL), located approximately 15 miles away from the city center.
