It's best to rent a car for your trip to Osoyoos as there are not many public transportation options available. The nearest airport is Penticton Regional Airport (YYF), but it's recommended to fly into Kelowna International Airport (YLW) as it has more flights and rental car options. The drive from Kelowna to Osoyoos is about two hours and 30 minutes.
If you have some more time, consider visiting Rattlesnake Canyon Amusement Park and experience zip-lining and mini-golf. Osoyoos Lake State Park is also an excellent spot to relax on the beach or have a beach barbecue. For a shorter trip, you can skip the ski resort or the spa experience. If you want an all-day wine tour experience, there are plenty of options with bookings, but you won’t be able to fit much else on your itinerary. Be aware the desert can be hot during the summer, so always bring enough water and sunscreen.
