Murud Janjira Fort is a magnificent fort situated on the Murud beach. With its impressive architecture and strategic location, it is an excellent spot for history lovers. You can take a boat from Dighi or Rajapuri to reach the fort. Once you reach the fort, you can explore the cannons, tombs, and ruins of the palace. Don't miss the view of the Arabian sea from the fort ramparts. The fort is located about 25 km from Kashid Beach.
Enjoy a day of relaxation and sunbathing at Kashid Beach. The beautiful beach is surrounded by lush green hills and offers clear blue waters and soft white sand. You can swim, sunbathe, or even engage in water sports like surfing, banana boat rides, and parasailing. There are also several shacks and restaurants serving delicious seafood along with other regional cuisine. Kashid beach is situated about 30 km north of Alibaug.
If you have more time, you can visit other nearby attractions like Birla Ganesh Temple, Phansad Wildlife Sanctuary, or Korlai Fort. For art enthusiasts, Sangeet Naatak Academy is a must-visit place. If you have less time, you can visit only one place on day 1 and spend the rest of your time on day 2 exploring Kashid Beach and trying out different water sports.
