Transportation
Travelers can reach Santorini by plane or boat. Flights depart from major Greek cities daily, and they may also connect with other European cities. If you are coming from nearby islands, ferries are available, and there are several routes per day. Getting around Santorini requires a car, scooter or ATV rental service, public buses and taxi services also available. Taxis are available for hire, but they can be costly. It is recommended to pre-book transportation services like rental cars, buses, and taxis before arrival. Renting a car for four days can cost €80-120, depending on the type of car you choose.

If you have more time, you can also visit the villages, like Pyrgos or Megalochori, or go on a day trip to the nearby islands of Anafi or Ios.
