Start your adventure with a visit to Agaya Gangai Waterfalls. These falls are located in a remote location deep in the woods and require trekking through rough terrain to reach. The trek is around 7km and takes around 2 hours. But the stunning falls at the end make the effort worth it.
Next stop is Masila Falls, another waterfall located in Kollihills. The trek to these falls is relatively easy and shorter, taking around 1 hour to complete. Masila Falls are amazing to watch as the water gushes down with immense force.
After your treks, fuel up with a mouth-watering breakfast at Namma Cafe. They offer both vegetarian and non-vegetarian delicacies that give you a taste of the local cuisine.
Get ready to explore nature at the Botanical Garden of Kollihills. The garden has an extensive collection of plant species spread across 300 acres. Walk-through the greenery and learn about the various herbs, shrubs, and trees that grow in Kollihills.
Finally, to end the day, head to Seekuparai View Point and witness the stunning sunset over Kollihills. This viewpoint gives panoramic views of the valley and mountains, and the sunset from here is truly breathtaking.
If you have more time, you can visit other waterfalls in Kollihills like Sirumalai falls, Selur Nadu falls, and Araiyanachi falls. You can also spend more time at Botanical Garden as it requires a lot of walking. But if you have less time, you can skip either Agaya Gangai Waterfalls or Masila Falls.
