Start your day at Edakkal Caves, a natural wonder with ancient rock carvings and stunning views. It's a moderate trek to reach the caves, but the scenery makes it worth the effort. After exploring the caves, head to Soochipara Waterfalls, a family-friendly attraction with a natural pool and breathtaking waterfall. You can take a refreshing dip in the pool or simply enjoy the view. Both Edakkal Caves and Soochipara Waterfalls are open from 9 AM to 4:30 PM.

Take a jeep safari with a knowledgeable guide to see the wildlife up close. After the safari, head to Banasura Sagar Dam, the largest earth dam in India. It's a picturesque spot with scenic views of the dam and surrounding mountains. There are also various adventure activities like boating and ziplining available at the dam area. Both Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary and Banasura Sagar Dam are open from 7 AM to 5 PM.
If you have more time, consider adding a visit to Kuruva Island, a stunning river island with lush greenery and plenty of picnic spots. If you have less time, skip Banasura Sagar Dam and spend the afternoon at Pookode Lake, a serene freshwater lake that's perfect for boating.
