Kasi Vishwanathar Temple is a revered place of worship for Hindus around the world and an ancient temple with a lot of architecture, history, and spirituality behind its walls. The morning aarti gets very crowded but is extremely beautiful, it is also advised to wear traditional Indian clothes covering your shoulders and legs to enter the temple. Old Falls offers a relaxing atmosphere with a blissful cascade of water and tress surrounding the falls. The falls is a good place to take a bath and relax in the cool breeze after your temple visits.
As you drive up the zigzag road through the dense forest, you will reach the Courtallam Main Falls, also known as the "Spa of the South." This spectacular waterfall cascades down from a height of 60m in seven different levels. This therapeutic bath will provide a relaxing dip in the luke-warm water that runs down the falls. After a refreshing bath, it is time to get your hiking boots out for some trekking in the beautiful jungle which with deep woodlands, all that lies within and all around is the dense fragrance of various exotic flowers, and the soothing sound of the streamlet.
If you have extra time, you can also visit other scenic waterfalls such as Honey Falls, Tiger Falls, and Gundaru Falls. If time is limited, you can either dropone of the above mentioned falls and if you are more interested in temple tours, you can add in the other famous Tenkasi temples like Kuttralam temple, Mundanthurai Tiger Reserve, and Thirukutrala Natha Swamy temple.
