The Padmanabhaswamy temple is a historic shrine that speaks volumes about the culture and traditions of India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is known for its marvelous architecture, wood carvings, and mural paintings. The temple has several mandapams, each dedicated to different divine beings. Also, The temple features metal work sculptures, inscriptions, and brass lamps along the walls.

Kovalam Beach is an ideal spot to experience the sand, the sea, and the Sun and besides a magnificent sight of surrounding waters. It is located just 16 km from Padmanabhaswamy Temple. Stage right of the beach offers a breathtaking view of the lighthouse and the Arabian Sea spanning for miles. Enjoy adventure activities at the beach such as surfing, jet-skiing, parasailing, etc.
Veli Tourist Village is situated near the Veli Lake, and it is a recreational park with several picnic spots, children's parks, as well as boat rides. It is home to several traditional Indian houses, and visitors can explore them to get a glimpse of the life of the past.
Note: Carry sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses to protect yourself from direct sun rays.
If you have more than two days, you can also visit other tourist attractions such as Poovar Island, Napier Museum & Zoo, and Agastya Mala.
However, if you're running short of time, you can skip the Veli. Also, it is better to start your day early to cover all the tourist spots.
