Next, head towards Soochipara Waterfalls, also known as Sentinel Rock Waterfalls. The falls are a beautiful sight with their crystal-clear streams and stunning rock formations. You can also take a 1-km trek to the falls.
Begin at Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can explore the lush surroundings and spot various Indian wildlife. Here, you can enjoy a guided jeep ride through the jungle, where you might see wild elephants or tigers from afar. Afterward, head to the Edakkal Caves, an ancient heritage site known for its prehistoric stone carvings. Take a hike of 1.5 hours to reach the cave entrance and see the fascinating glimpses of history dating back to thousands of years.
