The museum also has a wonderful natural history section, with exhibits on local flora and fauna. The museum is closed on Mondays, so make sure to plan your visit accordingly.

  4. Day 2: Kowdiar Palace

    The Kowdiar Palace, located in the heart of Trivandrum, is the former residence of the royal family of Travancore. The palace was built in the 19th century, and is known for its stunning architecture and magnificent gardens. While the palace is not open to visitors, you can admire its beautiful exteriors and take a walk in the peaceful gardens. From the palace, you can also visit the nearby Sree Chithra Art Gallery, which has a wonderful collection of Indian paintings and sculptures.
