Visit the Venu Gopala Swamy Temple, one of the most ancient temples and is dedicated to Lord Krishna. An interesting feature of this temple is that the statue of Lord Krishna is carved out of a single stone. You can also visit the Panchamukhi Hanuman Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. It is believed that Hanuman revealed his five-faced form at this site.
Enjoy some leisure time with your family at the beautiful Lakshmi Nagar Park, situated on the banks of Tungabhadra River. Take a scenic boat ride and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. You can also explore the park on foot, and your kids can have fun on the swings.
If you have an extra day, you can visit the Harihara Kshethram, an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located about 15 km from Manthralayam. Also, if you are traveling with kids, carry water bottles, sunscreen, and hats to protect them from the sun. Wearing traditional clothes while visiting the temples is advisable.
