Three Days in Nature: A Goa Itinerary

1. Day 1: Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary
   45 mins (25 km) from Dabolim Airport

   Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary is a 250-hectare protected area located in northeast Goa. The sanctuary is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including leopards, spotted deer, monkeys, and snakes. Take a safari ride through the sanctuary and marvel at the beauty of nature. Do not miss the interpretation center and deer park.

2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Waterfalls
   1 hr 45 mins (80 km) from Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary

   Dudhsagar Waterfalls, one of the highest waterfalls in India, is a must-visit for nature lovers. Take a dip in the cool waters at the base of the waterfall, and if interested can also enjoy a jeep safari in the nearby Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary. Do remember to carry your swimwear and other essentials!

3. Day 3: Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary
   1 hr 30 mins (55 km) from Dudhsagar Waterfalls

   Named after a renowned Indian ornithologist, Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary is situated on the western tip of the Island of Chorão along the Mandovi River. The sanctuary is home to migratory birds such as pintails, coots and herons that flock to this place during winter. Take a boat ride on Mandovi river, witness the migratory birds, and explore the lush green mangrove forest.
