Start your day at the famous Baga Beach. Spend the morning building sandcastles, playing frisbee and soaking up the sun. You can grab lunch at one of the beachside shacks offering fresh seafood and local drinks. In the afternoon, head to the Anjuna Flea Market. Frequented by tourists and locals alike, you can find handmade trinkets, clothing, and delicious street food. End your day watching the sunset at Vagator Beach which offers a stunning view. While the adults relax, the kids can play on the shore. Note that if you’re traveling from March to June, the beaches can get crowded.
Start your day exploring the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The church houses the tomb of St. Francis Xavier and is a stunning example of Baroque architecture. Next, head to the Shri Manguesh Temple. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple is situated on a hill and offers picturesque views of the surrounding area. For lunch, enjoy a thali at a local restaurant like Ritz Classic known for serving authentic Goan cuisine. In the afternoon, visit the Fort Aguada. The 17th-century fort was built by the Portuguese and is a popular tourist destination. End your day admiring the richness of Goan art at the Goa State Museum. The museum houses over 8000 artifacts including sculptures, paintings, and manuscripts.
If you have more time, add a day trip to the Dudhsagar Falls, a four-tiered waterfall situated in the Mollem National Park.
If you have less time, skip the flea market and visit Calangute Beach instead. Known as the "Queen of Beaches," it is one of the most popular beaches in Goa.
Keep in mind that some of the beaches may close during monsoons (June-September) for safety concerns.
