    Experience the thriving biodiversity of the region at the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary which is home to tigers, elephants, leopards, and many other exotic species. The sanctuary offers a 4-hour jeep safari which is the best way to explore the wildlife and nature. If you're lucky, you may even spot some endangered species. Make sure to carry your binoculars and camera to capture the amazing moments.

  3. Day 2: Chembra Peak
    1 hour and 30 minutes (30 miles) from Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary

    Visit the highest peak in Wayanad and experience the breathtaking views of the surrounding forests, valleys, and hills. The trek to Chembra peak is about 4-5 hours and is quite challenging, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry enough water and snacks. The highlight of the trek is a heart-shaped lake which is situated halfway through the trek.
