The temple was built in 1855 and is dedicated to the goddess Kali. The architecture of the temple is beautiful and is surrounded by attractive gardens. The temple is open from 6am to 12pm and 3pm to 8pm daily.

  4. Day 2: St. Paul's Cathedral
    35 minutes (11 km) from Dakshineswar Kali Temple

    St. Paul's Cathedral is the first Episcopal Church in the eastern world and is an architectural marvel with stunning stained glass windows and a beautiful gothic structure. The church was built in 1847 and is open to visitors from 9am to 12pm and 3pm to 6pm daily.
