3-Day Thirupathi Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Sri Venkateswara Temple
    Located in the center of the city

    Sri Venkateswara Temple, also known as Balaji Mandir, is a highly revered shrine in Thirupathi. This temple is decorated with gold-plated structures and is home to Lord Venkateswara. Visitors can witness the beauty of the architecture and experience spiritual vibes. The queue system has been recently revamped, take the updated modality into consideration while planning the visit in advance.

  2. Day 2: Talakona Waterfall
    56 km (1.5 hours) from Sri Venkateswara Temple

    Talakona waterfall, located in Sri Venkateshwara National Park, is the highest waterfall in Andhra Pradesh. It provides a refreshing break from the city with a scenic trek to reach the falls. Visitors can catch a glimpse of beautiful fauna and flora on the way. It is advisable to start the trip early due to the time required for travel and the trek.

  3. Day 3: ISKCON Thirupathi
    12 km (25 minutes) from Talakona Waterfall

    International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) Thirupathi temple, popularly known as Sri Sri Radha Govinda Mandir, is a harmonious and peaceful ashram. It serves as the perfect location to unwind and meditate amidst lush greenery. Visitors can participate in spiritual activities, enjoy vegetarian food at their restaurant and buy souvenirs.

Thirupari offers a fantastic spiritual and natural experience. If visitors want to add more time to see the city, they can visit other famous temples like Sri Kalahasthi Temple and Kanipakam Vinayaka Temple.

Add another day to the itinerary to visit Sri Kalahasthi Temple and Srikalahasti National Park.

If visitors have limited time, skip Talakona Waterfall and add Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka Temple, located in Kanipakam. Note that the temple is crowded on weekends and public holidays.

We advise pilgrims to carry necessary items like water bottles, hats, and wear comfortable shoes.
