Hogenakkal Falls, also known as the "Niagara of India," is a stunning waterfall on the Kaveri River. You can take a coracle ride to get up close to the falls, or simply take in the breathtaking views from the banks of the river. There are also several small shops selling souvenirs and local snacks.
Theerthamalai Temple is a popular pilgrimage site located on a hill in Dharmapuri. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is known for its natural springs and the holy pond. Visitors can also take a short trek to the top of the hill for panoramic views of the surrounding area.
If you have more time, consider visiting the Krishnagiri Fort, which is around an hour's drive from Dharmapuri. This historic fort dates back to the 16th century and offers spectacular views. If you have less time, consider skipping the coracle ride at Hogenakkal Falls and spending more time exploring the shops and local food stalls.
