  1. Day 1: Varkala Beach

Go for a horse ride around the forest or take a hike up to Mannavanur Lake to see the stunning views of the valley.

    The Ooty Botanical Gardens are spread over 55 acres and was established in 1848. The garden hosts several different types of plants including exotic species from the Himalayas, Europe, and America. You can also find a wide range of roses, orchids, and carnivorous plants. The gardens also have several greenhouses, including a Flower Show in May every year, which shouldn't be missed.
